  • Scientific Description
    CD57, also known as HNK1 or Leu7, is a sulphated trisaccharide (3-O-sulfoglucuronic acid beta1-3 Gal beta1-4 GlcNAc) attached to several glycoproteins, including CD56, myelin glycoprotein PO, and neural cell adhesion molecule L1, as well as on glycolipids and chondroitin sulphate proteoglycans in the nervous system. It serves as a NK cell marker and it is expressed on well differentiated prostate cancers and uveal and cutaneous melanoma. CD57+ T cells are implicated as suppressors of T-cell responses.

U2OS cells(black) were fixed with 4% PFA for 10min at room temperature,permeabilized with PBST for 20 min at room temperature, and incubated in 5% BSA blocking buffer for 30 min at room temperature. Cells were then stained with CD57 Antibody(bs-1635R)at 1:100 dilution in blocking buffer and incubated for 30 min at room temperature, washed twice with 2%BSA in PBS, followed by secondary antibody(blue) incubation for 40 min at room temperature. Acquisitions of 20,000 events were performed. Cells stained with primary antibody (green), and isotype control (orange).
