This antibody is specific for the INPP4b protein and shows no cross reactivity with INPP4a. INPP4b catalyzes the hydrolysis of the 4-position phosphate of phosphatidylinositol 3,4-bisphosphate, inositol 1,3,4-trisphosphate and inositol 3,4-trisphosphate

This antibody is recommended for the detection and analysis of INPP4b by western blot and immunocytochemistry. For instance, the mouse version of this antibody was used to detect INPP4b by western blot in extracts of COS cells transiently transfected with GFP-tagged INPP4b or untagged Kv2.1 plasmid.
