- Scientific DescriptionRecombinant Antibody. This antibody RM423 reacts to human TRK. This antibody may also react to mouse or rat TRK, as predicted by immunogen homology. Application: IHC, WB . Source: Rabbit. Liquid. 50% Glycerol/PBS with 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide. The family of neurotrophic tyrosine kinase (NTRK1/2/3) gene encodes TrkA, TrkB and TrkC protein kinases. The three family members are activated by different neurotrophins: TrkA is activated by Nerve growth factor (NGF), TrkB by Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) or neurotrophin-4 (NT-4) and TrkC by NT-3. Neurotrophin signaling activates cellular pathways involved in the development and the maturation of the central and peripheral nervous systems through regulation of proliferation, cell growth, differentiation and survival of sympathetic and nervous neurons. TRK, was initially identified in a colon carcinoma, is frequently activated in thyroid papillary carcinomas. Pan-Trk IHC is a time-efficient and tissue-efficient screen for NTRK fusions, particularly in driver-negative advanced malignancies and potential cases of secretory carcinoma and congenital fibrosarcoma. - The family of neurotrophic tyrosine kinase (NTRK1/2/3) gene encodes TrkA, TrkB and TrkC protein kinases.
