  • Antibody Specificity
This antibody is specific for the VEGFR2 protein. It shows no binding to individual domains 2-3, 1-3 and 1-4. VEGFR2 is a tyrosine-protein kinase that acts as a cell-surface receptor for VEGFA, VEGFC and VEGFD. It plays an essential role in the regulation
  • Application Supplier Note
The human version of this antibody was tested by ELISA with different domains of VEGFR2 (WO2017004254). Furthermore, binding of the human version of this antibody to human umbilical vein endothelial cells was demostrated using flow cytometry (WO2017004254). After that, HUVEC tube formation assays were preformed using the human version of this antibody. This antibody did not show significant inhibition of tube formation (WO2017004254). Further, a matrigel plug assay was preformed using the human version of this antibody to asses its ability to inhibit angiogenesis in vivo (WO2017004254).
