This antibody is capable of binding human XCR1-EGFP-expressing B300.19 cells in a flow cytometry analysis. The determination of the binding epitope of this antibody was done using ELISA (US9371389). This antibody exhibits a significant effect in treating rheumatoid arthritis in the experiment of delayed-type hypersensitivity reaction induced by Mycobacterium butyricum delayed-type hypersensitivity reaction. The neutralizing activity of this antibody against human lymphotactin-induced migration of human XCR1-expressing cells was evaluated by in vitro chemotaxis assay. It was reported that this antibody completely inhibited cell migration at a concentration of about 3 microg/mL (US9371389). The effect of this antibody on ear swelling of DNFB (Dinitrofluorobenzene)-sensitized mice was done and it was reported that this antibody caused significant suppression of ear swelling 24 after induction. This antibody was also reported to show showed a very low reactivity to human CX3CR1-EGFP-expressing B300.19 cells (US9371389). The original antibody with saporin-conjugated secondary antibody showed growth suppression of human XCR1-EGFP-expressing B300.19 cells.
