This antibody recognizes an unique epitope of CD2, a 50 kDa glycoprotein present on the human peripheral blood T-lymphocytes and NK cells; also expressed by all thymocytes.

FACS: 20 microl reagent / 100 microl of whole blood or 106 cells in a suspension. *Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the researcher.Not tested in other applications.

T-cell surface antigen CD2

The protein encoded by this gene is a surface antigen found on all peripheral blood T-cells. The encoded protein interacts with LFA3 (CD58) on antigen presenting cells to optimize immune recognition.
