ERRalpha antagonist-1 (Compound A) is a selective and high affinity estrogen-related receptor alpha (ERRalpha) antagonist. ERRalpha antagonist-1 inhibits interaction of ERRalpha with Proliferator-activated Receptor gamma Coactivator-1alpha (PGC-1alpha) and PGC-1beta, the IC 50 values are 170 nM and 180 nM, respectively. ERRalpha antagonist-1 does not inhibit the interaction of either ERRbeta or ERRgamma with PGC-1alpha and PGC-1beta coactivator, and also does not inhibit interaction of ERalpha or ERbeta with PGC-1alpha or SRC-1 [1] .
