    20(S)-Ginsenoside Rg3 is the main ingredient of red ginseng. 20(S) -ginsenoside Rg3 inhibited Na+ and hKv1.4 channels with IC50 of 32.2±4.5 and 32.6±2.2 uM, respectively. 20(S) -ginsenoside Rg3 also inhibited Abèta, NF-kappaB activity and COX-2 expression.
