Glucose oxidase (GOD) is an oxidoreductase enzyme that inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells by reacting with intracellular oxygen (O2) and bèta-D-glucose to produce hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and gluconic acid, thereby cutting off the source of nutrients for cancer cells.
