Recognizes human glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) which is present in astrocytes in the central nervous system and Schwann cells.

Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin sections). Immunohistochemistry (ABC): 10 microg/ml. Western Blot: 1:100-1:1000. Optimum dilutions to be determined by researcher. Hybridoma: A fusion of mouse myeloma cells with spleen cells from a mouse immunized with glial fibrillary acidic protein from a human brain..
