Rabbit polyclonal to INO80.DNA helicase INO80 is a main scaffold component of the chromatin remodeling INO80 complexinvolved in transcriptional regulation, DNA replication and probably DNA repair. The involvement ofINO80 in DNA double-strand break repair appears to be largely indirect through transcriptionalregulation. INO80 is recruited by YY1 to YY1-activated genes, where it binds to DNA and acts as anessential coactivator. INO80 has double stranded DNA-dependent ATPase activity in vitro. INO80 isinvolved in UV-damage excision repair, DNA replication and chromosome segregation during normalcell division cycle.
