PDCD8/AIFM1 protein has the dual functions of NADH oxidoreductase and apoptosis regulator, and translocates from the mitochondrial intermembrane space to the cytoplasm and nucleus in response to apoptotic stimuli. It acts through a caspase-independent pathway, inducing parthanatos characterized by fragmentation of chromosomal DNA. PDCD8/AIFM1 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived PDCD8/AIFM1 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-6*His labeled tag.
