Overview
- SupplierGeneTex
- Product NamePDE4B antibody
- Delivery Days Customer9
- Antibody SpecificityThis antibody detects all PDE4B proteins, including PDE4B1, PDE4B2, PDE4B3, and a 66 kDa PDE4B variant. It does not cross-react with other PDE family members such as PDE4A, PDE4C. And it may have minor crossreactivity to PDE4D.

- Protein IDQ07343
- Protein NamecAMP-specific 3',5'-cyclic phosphodiesterase 4B
- Scientific DescriptionThis gene is a member of the type IV, cyclic AMP (cAMP)-specific, cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase (PDE) family. The encoded protein regulates the cellular concentrations of cyclic nucleotides and thereby play a role in signal transduction. Altered activity of this protein has been associated with schizophrenia and bipolar affective disorder. Alternative splicing and the use of alternative promoters results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2014]
