- Scientific DescriptionRadicicol is an inhibitor of Hsp90 with an IC 50 value [1] . Radicicol exhibits inhibition on PDK with IC 50 s of 230 microM ( PDK1 ) and 400 microM ( PDK3 ). Radicicol is an antifungal and antimalarial antibiotic, impairs mitochondrial replication by targeting P. falciparum topoisomerase VIB [2] . Radicicol is also an inhibitor of fat mass and obesity-associated protein ( FTO ), with an IC 50 value of 16.04 microM [3] .
