Sekikaic acid is an alpha-glucosidase (Glucosidase) and alpha-amylase (Amylases) inhibitor with hypolipidemic, antioxidant and antidiabetic activities. Sekikaic acid significantly reduces LDL, total cholesterol, and total glyceride levels and causes pancreatic beta cell regeneration[1].
