Splitomicin (Splitomycin) is a selective Sir2p inhibitor. Splitomicin inhibits NAD+-dependent HDAC activity of Sir2 protein. Splitomicin induces dose-dependent inhibition of HDAC in the yeast extract with an IC50 of 60 microM[1].
