    TP0427736 hydrochloride can be used in the androgenic alopecia (AGA) research. TP0427736 hydrochloride inhibits the phosphorylation of Smad2/3 in A549 cells induced by TGF-beta1 with an IC50 value of 8.68 nM. TP0427736 hydrochloride is a potent ALK5 kinase inhibitor with an IC50 value of 2.72 nM which is 300-fold more potent than inhibitory effect against ALK3 of 836 nM [1].
