  • Antibody Specificity
This antibody reacts with human C reactive protein, which is a pentameric protein found in blood plasma. It is an acute phase reactive protein of hepatic origin. It is an important defense molecule for the body and its plasma concentration increases sharp
  • Application Supplier Note
Indirect ELISA was used for the primary screening of the hybridomas showing selective binding for human CRP. Horseradish peroxide labelled scFv P20 was used for the identification of natural CRP extracted from denatured and non-denatured blood in a western blot assay. The combination of P02 and P20 antibody was also used in the double antibody sandwich detection system consisting of P20 as the coating antibody and P02 as the labeled antibody to be used in the colloidal gold detection platform for the detection of natural CRP. These antibodies were also used in the preparation of human C-reactive protein colloidal gold test card (CN106596976).
