    This antibody is capable of neutralizing the biological activity of wild-type human IL-8. This antibody is reported to inhibit human wild type IL-8, human monomeric IL-8, rabbit IL-8, and rhesus IL-8 mediated neutrophil chemotaxis (US6025158). The binding characterization of this antibody was done using ELISA. The Fab version of this antibody binds human IL-8 with an affinity of 114 pM (US6025158).
