- Antibody SpecificityThis antibody recognizes intracellular human lysozyme/muramidase expressed by virtually all myelomonocytic cells, macrophages and their precursors.
- Application Supplier NoteThe original mouse IgG1 clone is primarily used in analytics. On group used this antibody to sketch an immunophenotype for several leukemia patients (Perea et al., 2005; PMID: 16095690). Another group used the antibodies with immunofluorescence to inspect lysozymes withing patiens with specific granule deficiency, a rare disease (Serwas et al., 2018; PMID: 29651288). A final group used LZ-2 in combination with flow cytometry to analyze the development of bone marrow with and without myeloperoxidase (Scholz et al., 2004; PMID: 15003312)
