  • Application Supplier Note
This chimeric engineered antibody is generated by fusing the original alpaca derived nanobody to mouse IgG1 and rabbit Fc domains to extend the research application of the original. This antibody binds vimentin present on canine MDCK cells, rodent BHK cells and on human A549 cells upon stimulation with TGFbeta. This antibody can be used for immunofluorescent staining of tissues expressing vimentin. It can also be conjugated with fluorophores for direct detection. It can also be immobilized on protein A, beads, resins and plates. The original alpaca VHH antibody is available from ChromoTek.
