    Fis1 promotes the fragmentation of the mitochondrial network and its perinuclear clustering. It can induce cytochrome c release from mitochondria to the cytosol, ultimately leading to apoptosis. It also mediates peroxisomal fission. - Polyclonal Antibody. Recognizes human, mouse and rat Fis1. Source: Rabbit. Applications: ICC, IP, WB. Liquid. In PBS containing 10% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. Fis1 promotes the fragmentation of the mitochondrial network and its perinuclear clustering.
