- Scientific DescriptionINI1 (also known as SNF5 or SMARCB1) is a protein that is involved in the regulation of transcription, replication, and repair of DNA. It is a subunit of the SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complex, which helps to open up DNA so that genes can be transcribed. INI1 is also involved in the repair of DNA damage, and it can help to prevent cancer cells from developing. Mutations or deletions of the INI1 gene are associated with a number of different cancers, including malignant rhabdoid tumor (MRT), atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumor (AT/RT), and clear cell sarcoma of the kidney (CCSK). - Recombinant Antibody. RM468 reacts to human INI1 (SNF5/SMARCB1). This antibody may also react to mouse or rat INI1, as predicted by immunogen homology. Isotype: Rabbit IgG. Immunogen: A peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of human INI1 (SNF5/SMARCB1). Applications: IHC, WB. Liquid. 50% Glycerol/PBS with 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide.
