Recognizes inducible nitric oxide sythase (iNOS), and does not cross react with endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) or brain nitric oxide synthase (bNOS).

For IHC-Fr: Use at a dilution of 1:500. For WB: Use at a dilution of 1:2,000. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the researcher.

Nitric oxide is a reactive free radical which acts as a biologic mediator in several processes, including neurotransmission and antimicrobial and antitumoral activities. This gene encodes a nitric oxide synthase that is inducible by a combination of lipopolysaccharide and certain cytokines.
