Both frozen and FFPE (formalin fixed and paraffin embedded) sections show excellent staining in immunohistochemistry or immunofluorescence. This antibody is also useful in western blots. For use in staining of tissue sections the antibody has to be diluted to approximately 1:100, preferably in phosphate buffered saline. For positive control of Western blotting a preparation of leiomyoma cells is recommended. Recommended positive control: skeleton muscle, rhabdomyosarcomas and leiomyoma cells..
