The antibodies are generated in various hosts and react to antigens of different species like human, mouse, rat, rabbit or zebrafish. The antibodies are validated for multiple applications, including immunohistochemistry, western blot, immunoprecipitation, ELISA and flow cytometry, to ensure reliable performance for your research needs.

Western blot using GeneTex's anti-SPS1 antibody shows detection of endogenous SPS1 in NIH3T3 cell. No signal is seen in lysates from cells after pre-treatment with SPS1 siRNA. Endogenous SPS1 can be detected in mouse kidney and liver tissue lysates. Negligible cross-reactivity is seen against recombinant SPS2. The primary antibody was used at a 1:1000 dilution.

Both the antiserum and IgG fractions of anti-Carboxypeptidase Y (Baker's Yeast) are shown to detect under reducing conditions of SDS-PAGE the 61,000 dalton enzyme in cellular extracts. Approximately 10 μg of total protein is loaded per lane. A 1:5,000 dilution of the primary antibody is used followed by detection using HRP Goat-anti-Rabbit IgG (H&L) diluted 1:4,000 and color development using 4-CN substrate until sufficient color develops. Other detection systems will yield similar results.

Western blot analysis shows GeneTex's Anti-Lactate Dehydrogenase antibody detects LDH in HeLa cell extracts. Reactivity with LDH is observed in the cytoplasmic fraction (CF) and little to no reactivity in the nuclear fraction (NF). 30 μg was loaded per lane. Comparison to a molecular weight marker (not shown) indicates a single band of ~36 kDa corresponding to the expected molecular weight for the protein. The blot was incubated with 1:400 for overnight at 4oC. Secondary antibody at 1:10,000 for 45 min at RT.
