The antibodies are generated in various hosts and react to antigens of different species like human, mouse, rat, rabbit or zebrafish. The antibodies are validated for multiple applications, including immunohistochemistry, western blot, immunoprecipitation, ELISA and flow cytometry, to ensure reliable performance for your research needs.

Western blot using GeneTex's protein-A purified Anti-MIP-1 beta (CCL4) antibody shows detection of recombinant pig MIP-1 beta (CCL4) raised in yeast. The protein was purified and resolved by SDS-PAGE, then transferred to PVDF membrane. Membrane was blocked with 3% BSA , and probed with 4 μg/mL primary antibody overnight at 4oC. After washing, membrane was probed with IRDye800 Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG at 1:20,000 for 45 min at room temperature.

Western blot using GeneTex's anti-Mouse IL-17F antibody shows detection of a band ~18 kDa in size corresponding to recombinant mouse IL-17F. Recombinant mouse IL-17F was loaded on to an SDS-PAGE gel at 0.25 μg and after separation was transferred to nitrocellulose. The membrane was blocked with 1% BSA in TBST for 30 min at RT, followed by incubation with primary antibody diluted 1:1,000 in 1% BSA in TBST overnight at 4oC. After washes, the blot was reacted with secondary antibody HRP Goat anti-Rabbit IgG antibody diluted 1:40,000 in blocking buffer) for 30 min at RT followed by reation with FemtoMax Chemiluminescent substrate. Data was collected using Bio-Rad VersaDocR 4000 MP imaging system.

GeneTex's anti-AHA1 monoclonal antibody was used at a 5-10 μg/mL to detect AHA1 in the seminiferous tubule of human testis (40X) showing moderate staining. Leydig cells showed faint to moderate staining. Expression of AHA1 is reported in many epithelial and lymphatic tissues, with cytoplasmic localization. This antibody showed moderate cytoplasmic staining of a variety of epithelial tissues and lymphoid organs such as spleen and tonsil with minimal background staining. The image shows the localization of the antibody as the precipitated red signal, with a hematoxylin purple nuclear counterstain. Tissue was formalin-fixed and paraffin embedded.
